Carteret County manages 13 parks and 3 County school ball fields, ranging in size from 1 to 31 acres, located from Sea Level to Cedar Point,
totaling approximately 200 acres. To find out which amenities are available at each park go to our Parks Facilities page.

Senior Games |
Registration has Started! Senior Games, sports and arts competition for ages 55 and better, are scheduled for April 19-May 10. Go to the Senior Games web page for more information.

Kickball & Soccer for Adults to Start |
CountyAdult Coed Kickball and Adult Coed Soccer games willl begin in April. Anyone interested in playing needs to participate in an organizational meeting on March 22 at the County Parks & Recreation offices. More information is on our Athletics page!

Yoga Classes Continue |
Therapeutic Yoga Classes led by instructor Annette Tersigni continue in the new County office space adjacent to the Library. There are no registration forms; to pre-register fill out the Waiver and mail it to County Parks & Recreation with your check made to Annette Tersigni, or, just show up at the class! Cost if $40 for 5 sessions, held weekly. For additional information see Annette's Flyer.

Boating Safety - The New Law & Classes
|
A new law requires boat operators under the age of 26 to complete an approved boating safety course, pass an examm, and carry a certification card. Classes are being offered by the Fort Macon Sail & Power Squadron. For more information see their Flyer for the February 20-21 course. The New Law.
