County Recreation Programs

Carteret County manages 14 parks and 3 County school ball fields, ranging in size from 1 to 31 acres, located from Sea Level to Cedar Point, totaling approximately 200 acres. To find out which amenities are available at each park go to our Parks Facilities page.

Kids Are Grand-Photo Contest

Carteret County Senior Games is excited to launch its first “Kiidss arre Grrand” photo contest! Photos can showcase your grandchildren in a variety of settings: let us see what makes kids GRAND! All entries will be displayed April 12, 2012 at Opening Ceremonies
and Expo held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center.
