All citizens and visitors are welcome and encouraged to use Carteret County park facilities anytime parks are open which is, generally, dawn to dusk. Reservations for ballfields and picnic areas are encouraged and those with reservations may ask the casual user to vacate a facility. Anyone wanting to make a reservation should familiarize themself with park policies, then fill out the appropriate form and send the original with any additional information that is required to the department. Faxed copies will not be accepted. Please feel free to call 808-3301 with any questions.
Note: Forms are in Adobe Acrobat format and require Acrobat Reader® to view.

Alcohol is NEVER ALLOWED in any County park or park facility. As stated in Park Policies & County Ordinances, anyone seen consuming, in possession of, and/or appearing to be under the influence of alcohol and/or illegal substances will be directed to leave the facility, if necessary, by law enforcement personnel.
County Park Policies
County parks are for the use and enjoyment of all citizens and visitors. In order to ensure that the everyone's park experience is a good one, and a safe one, these policies were submitted to and approved by both the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and the County Board of Commissioners.
Reserving Fields
A field reservation form, with required additional information, must be completed and submitted in order to reserve a field. When requesting a field, use the letter or number identification shown on the park maps below. Please remember that we always have more requests than we have fields so while we make every effort to fill requests exactly as they are submitted, we may only be able to offer another field and/or park.
