Use of Carteret County Parks & Recreation facilities may require a reservation and/or completed application. Where necessary, please fill out the appropriate form(s) below and mail or deliver to Carteret County Parks and Recreation, 801 Arendell Street, Suite 8, Morehead City, NC, 28557. Faxed copies will not be accepted.

Alcohol in the Parks

Please note that it is unlawful for any person in a park facility to possess alcoholic beverages and/or be under the influence of alcoholic beverages or be disruptive by virtue of such use, as stated in Park Policies and Procedures, based on County Ordinance Article 1, Section 11-1. Sports leagues sign an agreement stating that they understand that if their members do not follow this policy they may be suspended from play. Spectators in possession of or under the influence of alcohol will be asked to leave the park, if necessary, by law enforcement officers.

Reserving Fields Fill-In Field Request Form

To reserve a field, a Field Reservation Request form must be completed and submitted. Field Maps are available by opening the links below to help you identify the field you are requesting by the number or letter this department uses to identify them. Please remember that we have more requests than we have fields so you may not be assigned the field you are requesting.

Reserving Picnic Shelters

Casual users of these areas are welcome but will have to move if another group has reserved the shelter and surrounding area.

Please email parksreservations@carteretcountygov.org or call 808-3749 to see if your date and time are available, then submit the Picnic Shelter Reservation Form.
