Carteret County manages 14 parks and 3 County school ball fields, ranging in size from 1 to 31 acres, located from Sea Level to Cedar Point,

| Co-Ed Adult Volleyball League |
Carteret County Parks and Recreation Department will offer a Coed Adult Volleyball League. Fees are $200.00 per team. | Western Park Walking Trail |
New trail is a 3/4 mile loop with stations marked including sit-upleg lift, pull-up/chin-up bar, parallel bars and shoulder press, balance beam/sitting press and a step-up and hamstring stretch.

Classes held at Fort Benjamin Park in Newport, NC. Saturday classes begin March 23rd and are held from 10-11am or 11-12pm. Thursday classes begin March 28th and are held from 4:30-5:30pm or 5:30-6:30pm.
