| Fee Schedule |
County Commissioners approved changes to the Parks and Recreation fee schedule that went into effect July 1, 2009. The new schedule is posted on our Request Form page or click on Fee Schedule. |
West Beaufort Water Access Boat Ramps |
It's Open! Thanks to:
- The NC Division of Environmental and Natural Resources' Division of Coastal Management for grant funding,
- The NC Wildlife Resources Commission for funding and construction expertise,
- The Carteret County Commissioners, Public Water Access Committee and County management for support and funding
- The County Parks and Recreation staff for writing the grant application
- The County Engineer for project management, and
- The County Public Works Department's staff for providing encouragement and labor - it's open!

| New Park In Newport |
County Commissioners approved funding for a community park next to the Newport Middle School on 11 acres that were donated by the Board of Education in exchange for improvements to the middle school ball fields. Construction, expected to take up to 3 years, will begin in the Fall of 2008. For additional information click on the new Newport Park fact sheet and the Site Map. |
